Representative Projects:
Managed a Microsoft XP rollout to over 8,000 desktops and associated network changes at over 55 locations for the Loan Fulfillment Centers of a large financial institution. Project had high customer visibility and participation from both the customer and outside vendors. Responsible for acquiring and the performance of all delivery resource staffing that included over 95,000 hours for:
● Eighteen (18) on site project managers,
● Nine (9) senior team leads
● Thirteen hundred and seventy-five hundred (1375) delivery resources.
Project resulted in very high customer satisfaction, as all locations opened on Monday morning with no lost time due to the rollout.
First Line Manager for the direction of a management and project team consisting of twenty-five (25) resources that provided assistance to a large telephony firm as part of an out-sourcing contract. Activities included estimating work efforts, developing requirements, project planning, system design, programming, test, implementation, productivity improvements, application maintenance, and project management.
● Developed and implemented process, infrastructure, and tools in support of the contract.
● Managed a team that was charged with the responsibility of reducing machine utilization and processing costs.
♦ Enhancements included an effort that extensively modified the system architecture causing modifications to
each module in the system.
♦ Schedules for this effort were aggressive because of the customer’s need to recapture development costs
within the current year.
♦ Effort was completed on schedule, utilizing a cross contract staff of 22 with no defect leakage to
production, resulting in development cost recovery within requested time frame and an eight (8) million
annualized dollars of reduced processing costs
Expanded the scope of the services portfolio for a bank outsourcing contract by managing the transitioning of physical database management support for Oracle and SQL environments. Nine hundred and fifty-five (955) databases were transitioned to existing contract resources which freed up client staff for development and business support. Prepared and implemented End User Request Management Process for users to interface with new support group.
Managed the upgrade of DB2 V7 Instances on Z/OS, to DB2 V8 Compatibility Mode (CM). End of service for DB2 V7 was July 2008. Effort was completed by June 2008 in each of the engineering, test, quality, and production environments. The timely upgrading eliminated the need for costly extended support and provided enhanced application functionality.
Managed the Symantec Anti-Virus version 9 to Symantec Anti-Virus version 10 upgrade. Version 9 was scheduled to sunset and upgrading to version 10 ensured Symantec Anti-Virus protections were maintained. Twelve hundred and seventy-five (1275) servers were upgraded before scheduled sunset with no service interruptions
Managed the application development of enhancements and maintenance improvements for the Sense and Respond Analytics portion of the Seibel CRM Application. Delivered six (6) successful SPEs. SPEs are a business driven process that streamlines and accelerates rapid delivery of client requests to production. Eight week (8) delivery period from requirements to deployment into production. Delivered two (2) Major deployments. The primary requirement, of these deployments, was to take what was operational in a single instance in one business unit and expand it to all business units as a single World Wide instance. All efforts deployed on schedule with no defect leakage

General Manager Data Processing for information publishing firm, responsible for fiscal, administrative, and technical responsibility for a staff of 150 professionals comprised of managers, project managers, supervisors, analysts, programmers, and 50 support personnel. Also managed a full service mirco-publishing and data acquisition department providing C.O.M. output and print master preparation. Combined fiscal responsibilities in excess of 10 million dollars. Major accomplishments include:

Booz Allen & Hamilton, Senior Consultant (5 years)
.Project Manager for the State Wide Vendor File, State Income Tax Refunds, and Encumbrance Accounting sub system for the Office of the Comptroller, State of Illinois. Processed over a 200,000 tax refund checks with no processing errors.
Designed, managed, and implemented a MIS system relating to the procurement, installation, maintenance, billing, and operation of telecommunication services and equipment for the Department of General Services, State of Illinois. Replaced a batch overnight system with an online interactive system that enhanced employee productivity and provided timely information.
